We have lots happening at the Wesley Foundation, and we'd love to have you check it out! We plan events throughout the semester, some faith-based and some purely for fun, and we strongly believe that community-building is our ministry. We never want someone to feel alone or isolated. Wanderers are always welcome at Wesley.
Sunday Night Supper
Every Sunday, Wesley students get together to share a meal and talk about what it means to be people of faith in this time and place. Local churches donate homemade meals, and we get to have fellowship with each other and with the community!
Tuesday Evening Worship
Every Tuesday, our Director leads a worship service at Wesley. The messages are scripture-based and are relevant to the concerns of college students today, touching on both personal and community responsibility for making our campus a little more like the "kin"dom of heaven.
Service Projects
The Wesley Foundation has supported Habitat for Humanity, Victory Dream Center Food Pantry, Tesserae Chorus, and several other community organizations that tend to people's bodies and souls.
Food Pantry
Our Food Pantry serves students from SIUC and JALC. We're open from 1-3pm on Mondays - Thursdays while the campus is open, and we serve around 200 students per year. We're extremely grateful for our generous donors who supply our pantry and feed our students.
